To Create user, follow these steps: (Only users with Administrator privileges have access to Users section)


1. There are multiple ways you can Create a User (select any User Name whilst in Users section and right click and select from the context menu, select from the footer menu bar or from the right top corner drop icon , next to the help icon ).





                 

     


2. Fill in the required details in the Create User form:



UserName - User name must be Unique, this will be used for authenticating user when accessing AIS (required field)


Email Address - Email address of the user (required field)


First Name - First name of the user (required field)


Last Name - Last name of the user (not required field)


Password - Password must be six character Long can contact letters, numbers and special character, this will be used for authenticating user in conjunction with User Name when accessing AIS (required field)


Confirm Password - Password must match to proceed to the next steps (required field)


UserType - There are two type of Users Advance User (also called Internal User) and End User (not an Internal User) by default Advance User is selected, however Administrator can update the UserType.


BackupUser - Backup User are the users who can manage user/users account in users absence from work or simply can't access AIS for set duration of time, Assigned Backup User can access user/users account for set time allowing organization to operate smoothly in the user/users absence. (User must have backup user enabled and are require to set the start and end time) See also Control Panel (not required)

 

Status - When creating Users Administrator can specifies the status of the user by moving the slider to the right (ACTIVE / DEACTIVE). You can see the Green bar on the slider when user is Active. (Note: By default the Status will be Active)


Admin - To make a user part of Admin team simply active Admin group by moving the slider to the right, the bar will turn Green and all the other options will get disabled.


Options - When user is not part of Admin group, Administrator can assign different privilege depending on the type of User they are creating using the Option, there are three Options available for each sections i.e. No Access (User will have no access to the selected sections) View (User will have only view privileges, that means they cannot edit or create new files in the selected sections) Full Access (User with this option have all the rights such as create, edit, upload and delete the files for the sections with Full Access)

3.Landing Page - Landing page can be user specific, which means each time when user logs in to AIS (Active Intelligence Server) the section set as a Landing Page will be displayed as a first page.


4. Finally click to create a new user.
